1/2 lb Mushrooms; sliced
2 tb Butter
1 Onion; minced
2 Tomatoes; chopped
1/2 c Half & half
2 tb Flour
1/4 c Sherry
1 tb Worcestershire sauce
3 lb Shrimp; cooked and peeled
1/2 c Buttered bread crumbs
Salt and pepper; to taste
1/2 ts Paprika; or to taste
Saute mushroom in butter. Add onion and tomatoes and simmer for
10 minutes. Blend half & half and flour and add along with sherry,
Worcestershire, salt, pepper, and paprika, to taste. Add shrimp,
cooked and peeled, and put in large buttered casserole. Top with
crumbs and bake at 350 F until brown, about 20 minutes.
