1 md onion, chopped
butter
4-6 yellow squash, sliced
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1 ts salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 oz packages frozen whole
kernel corn, cooked and
drained
2 c grated sharp cheese
(preferably New York
sharp Cheddar)
seasoned buttered bread
crumbs
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Saute onion in butter in a large skillet. Add squash, cover and
steam until squash is tender. Drain and add seasonings and corn.
Cover and cook 5 minutes more. Stir in cheese and place in a 11/2
quart casserole and top with bread crumbs. Bake for 25 to 30
minutes.
