2 Lb. ground beef -- (2 to 2 1/2)
1 Small onion -- chopped
1 Can cream of chicken soup
1/2 Can water
1/3 C. picante sauce
1/2 Bag Doritos
3/4 C. grated Cheddar cheese
shredded lettuce
chopped tomatoes
Brown ground beef and onion; drain. Stir in cream of
chicken soup, water and picante sauce. Heat to boil. Cover
bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish with Doritos. Top with
ground beef mixture. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Heat in
350 degrees oven until cheese melts. Serve topped with lettuce and
tomatoes; additional grated cheese, chopped onions and picante
sauce if desired.
