MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Pumpkin Waffles
Categories: Breads, Squash, Spices
     Yield: 12 Waffles

   3/4 c  A-P flour
   1/2 c  Whole wheat flour
     2 tb Brown sugar
     1 ts Baking powder
     1 ts Ground cinnamon
   1/2 ts Ground ginger
   1/4 ts Baking soda
   1/4 ts Salt
   1/4 ts Ground cloves
     2 lg Eggs; room temperature
 1 1/4 c  Buttermilk
   1/2 c  Fresh or canned pumpkin
     2 tb Butter; melted
          Butter & syrup/jam/jelly
          - (optional)

 In a large bowl, combine first 9 ingredients. In a small bowl,
 whisk eggs, buttermilk, pumpkin, and melted butter. Stir into dry
 ingredients just until moistened.

 Bake in a preheated waffle maker according to manufacturer's
 directions until golden brown. If desired, serve with butter and
 syrup.
