                           Scalloped Tomatoes

  1      cl            Garlic -- minced
  4      tb            Butter -- melted, divided
  1      c             Fresh or canned mushrooms --
                       - finely chopped
  1      c             Butter-flavored crackers --
                       - crushed
  2      tb            Fresh parsley -- minced
  2      ts            Dried parsley
    1/2  ts            Salt
    1/8  ts            Pepper
  6      md            Tomatoes -- quartered

In a skillet, saute garlic in 2 tb butter for 2 minutes. Add
mushrooms; cook until heated through. Remove from the heat. Add
cracker crumbs, parsley, salt, pepper, and remaining butter; mix
well. Place tomatoes in a greased 8" square baking dish. Top with the
mushroom mixture. Bake, uncovered, at 400 F for 20 minutes or until
heated through.
