1/4 c Fresh parsley -- minced
1 ts Sugar
1/2 ts Salt (optional)
20 oz Brussels sprouts (4 c) -- halved
8 oz Water chestnuts -- drained,
- diced
1 tb Butter
In a saucepan over medium heat, bring water, parsley, sugar, and salt
to a boil. Add brussels sprouts. Cover and simmer for 6 to 8 minutes
or until tender; drain. Add water chestnuts and butter; heat through.
