                       Kohlrabi
                       Salt
                       Butter or cream -- melted
                       Salt and pepper -- to taste

Trim off the leaves, pare the kohlrabi and slice crosswise. Cook in
lightly salted boiling water for about 20 minutes in an uncovered
pan, drain, season with melted butter or cream and salt and pepper to
taste.
