MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Sour Beets
Categories: Beets, Vegetables
     Yield: 2 Servings

     2 lg Beets (4 md); cooked
     1 pn Salt
     2 tb Cider vinegar
     1 tb Butter
          Black pepper;
          - freshly ground, to taste

 Peel and chop the beets findly. Place in a pan with a pinch of salt
 and vinegar and simmer covered until most of the liquid is
 evaporated. Add the butter and black pepper. Serve with cottage pie.
