New potatoes
Frozen peas
White Sauce:
3 tb Butter
1/4 c Flour
1/4 ts Salt
1 c Milk or milk substitute
Boil potatoes and peas until done. Drain. Pour white sauce over and
stir until mixed well.
White Sauce:
Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Blend in flour, salt, and dash
white pepper.
Add milk all at once. Cook quickly, stirring constantly, until
mixture thickens and bubbles. Remove sauce from heat when it bubbles.
