       1 lb pencil asparagus, -- 3
 :          inches long
       1 lb parsnips, 1/4-inch square,
       3    inches long
       1 lb carrots, 1/4-inch square, --
       3    inches long
       1 lb fennel 1/4-inch square, --
       1    inch long
       1 lb beets 1/4 -inch square, --
       1    inch long
       1 c  minced country ham
 :          Olive oil
       1 TB allspice
 :          Salt and freshly ground
 :          pepper to taste

 In a large mixing bowl combine vegetables, lightly oil
 and season with salt, pepper and allspice. Grill until
 cooked
