MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Ultimate Scalloped Potatoes

     Yield: 6 Servings

     1 ts Butter; softened
     1 c  Heavy whipping cream
   1/3 c  Milk
     1 ts Salt
   1/2 ts Pepper
     2 cl Garlic; minced
     6 md Potatoes
     1 c  Swiss cheese; shredded
   1/4 c  Parmesan cheese; shredded

 Grease a shallow 13x9" baking dish with the butter; set aside.
 In a small saucepan, combine the cream, milk, salt, pepper, and
 garlic. Cook just until bubbles begin to form around sides of pan.
 Remove from the heat; cool for 10 minutes.

 Peel and thinly slice the potatoes; pat dry with paper towels.
 Layer half the potatoes in prepared baking dish; top with half the
 cream mixture and half the cheeses. Repeat layers.

 Bake, covered, @ 350 F/175 C for 40 minutes. Uncover and bake
 until potatoes are tender, 20 to 25 minutes longer. Let stand for
 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
