                     New Potatoes With Lemon Sauce

 12      Small         new potatoes -- unpeeled and sliced
  2      Tbsp.         diced onions
    1/2  C.            margarine
    1/4  C.            lemon juice
  1      Tsp.          caper juice
  2      Tbsp.         chopped capers
  2      Tbsp.         chopped fresh parsley
    1/4  Tsp.          black pepper
    1/4  C.            grated Parmesan cheese
                       lemon slices (optional)

Cover potatoes with water; bring to a boil and reduce
heat. Cook about 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Drain potatoes, arrange potatoes on platter and keep warm.
Saute onions in butter until tender. Reduce heat, stir in
lemon juice, caper juice, capers, parsley, salt and pepper.
Cook until mixture is thoroughly heated. Pour sauce over
potatoes. Sprinkle with cheese and garnish with lemon slices
if desired.
Yield: 8 servings.
