MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Sweet & Savory Marinated Green Beans

     Yield: 8 Servings

     1 lb Fresh green beans; trimmed
     2 c  Cider vinegar
     2 c  Water
   2/3 c  Sugar
     3 cl Garlic; crushed
     1 sm Red onion; sliced
     2 ts Mustard seed
     2 ts Dill weed
     1 ts Crushed red pepper flakes
     1 ts Salt

 In a large saucepan, bring about 6 cups water to a boil. Add green
 beans; cook, uncovered, just until crisp-tender, 2 to 3 minutes.
 Remove beans and immediately drop into ice water. Drain and pat dry.

 In a large container, combine all remaining ingredients, stir until
 sugar is dissolved. Add green beans; cover and refrigerate 8 hours
 or overnight.
