     Title: BRAISED CABBAGE

     Yield: 4 servings

 1 1/2 lb Cabbage, shredded
     3 ea Carrot, grated
     3 tb Butter
     4 ea Chive, stalks
     1 x  Salt
     1 x  Pepper

 In skillet heat butter until foamy. Add chives and
 saute until tender. Add green cabbage and carrots.
 Saute over high heat until tender but crisp, about 4
 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.  If you don't
 have scallions, onions are the next best substitute.
