                          Asparagus Almondine

  2      lb            Fresh asparagus -- cooked -OR-
  2                    Boxes frozen asparagus -- cooked
    1/4  c             Butter
    1/4  c             Slivered almonds
    1/2  ts            Salt
  1      tb            Lemon Juice

Drain cooked asparagus. Melt butter in small skillet. Cook almonds
over low heat until golden brown, about 5 to 7 minutes; stir
constantly. Remove from heat. Add salt and lemon juice; pour over hot
asparagus.

Yield: 6 Servings
