    1/2  c             Dairy sour cream
    1/4  c             Pickle juice
    1/2                Avacado -- peeled, seeded,
                       - mashed
  1      tb            Parsley -- snipped
  2      ts            Chives -- snipped
  1      ts            Dried dillweed
  1      bn            Red tipped lettuce (6 c) --
                       - torn
 11      oz            Can mandarin orange sections --
                       - chilled, drained
  1      c             Fresh mushrooms -- sliced
  1      sm            Onion -- sliced, separated
                       - into rings
  1                    Green pepper --
                       - sliced into rings
    1/2                Avacado -- peeled, seeded,
                       - sliced

Dressing:

Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, dill pickle juice, mashed avacado,
parsley, chives, and dillweed. Cover and refrigerate.

Place lettuce in large salad bowl. Arrange mandarin orange slices,
mushrooms, onion, green pepper, and avacado attractively atop
lettuce. Toss salad with desired amount of chilled dressing just
before serving.
