MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Apple-Feta Tossed Salad
Categories: Nuts, Herbs, Fruits, Vegetables, Greens
     Yield: 10 servings

     2 tb Butter
     1 tb Sugar
   1/8 ts Pepper
     1 c  Walnut halves

MMMMM--------------------------DRESSING-------------------------------
   1/3 c  Olive oil
     3 tb White wine vinegar
 1 1/2 ts Dijon mustard
     2 cl Garlic; minced
   1/2 ts Sugar
   1/4 ts Dried oregano
   1/8 ts Salt
   1/8 ts Dried parsley flakes
   1/8 ts Pepper
     2 tb Onion; fine chopped

MMMMM---------------------------SALAD--------------------------------
     5 c  Romaine; torn
     5 c  Red leaf lettuce; torn
     1 md Green apple; chopped
     1 md Red apple; chopped
     1 c  Feta cheese; crumbled

 Set oven @ 350 F/175 C.

 In a small skillet, melt butter over medium heat; stir in sugar and
 pepper. Add walnuts; toss to coat. Spread evenly onto a baking
 sheet. Bake until lightly browned, about 15 minutes, stirring every
 5 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.

 Place dressing ingredients in a blender; cover and process until
 blended. Place salad ingredients in a large bowl; toss with
 dressing. Top with walnuts. Serve immediately.
