MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.04

     Title: Layered Salad
Categories: Lettuce, American, Dressing
     Yield: 8 servings

     1 c  Lettuce or spinach, chopped
     1 lb Fried bacon, crumbled
     7    Eggs, hard boiled
     1 c  Lettuce, shredded
     1 c  Frozen uncooked peas
     1 c  Onion (mild), thinly sliced
   1/2 c  Mayonnaise
   1/2 c  Whipped salad dressing
     1 c  Swiss cheese, grated

 Layer the ingredients in the following order. Start with the
 chopped lettuce or spinach, sprinkle with salt, pepper and sugar.
 Top the chopped lettuce with the bacon. Top the bacon with the
 sliced eggs. Top the sliced eggs with shredded lettuce, sprinkle
 with salt, pepper and sugar. Top the lettuce with a layer of frozen
 peas. Top the peas layer with the sliced onion. Combine the salad
 dressing and mayonaise and spread over the sliced onion. Sprinkle
 the grated cheese on top. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
 Remove from refrigerator one to two hours before serving.
