Lettuce
Onion -- chopped
Dressing:
1/2 lb Bacon
2 c Water
1/2 c Sugar
1/2 c Vinegar
1/4 c Flour
1 Egg
Break up lettuce and onion, place in serving bowl and set aside.
To Make Dressing:
Cook bacon, drain and add water. Mix together sugar, vinegar, flour,
and egg. Pour into water and bacon, cook until thick. Pour dressing
over lettuce while still hot, serve immediately.
