3 md Nectarines, peeled and
-sliced
1/3 c Water
1/4 c Sugar
1 tb Lemon juice
1 c Blueberries or blackberries
1 c Strawberries
While we like this fruit and sorbet combination as a salad, it's
also [a dessert?]. Place nectarines, water, sugar and lemon juice
in blender or food processor. Cover and blend on high speed, or
process, until smooth. Pour into loaf pan, 9x5x3". Cover and freeze
about 2 hours or until almost firm. Break nectarine mixture into
chunks into bowl. Beat on low speed about 2 minutes or until
smooth. Pour into loaf pan. Freeze about 4 hours or until almost
firm. Scoop nectarine mixture onto individual plates. Arrange
berries around mixture.
Makes 6 servings (about 1/3 cup each); 75 calories per serving.
