1 c Kasha (buckwheat groats)
1 Egg; lightly beaten
2 Bananas; sliced
2 1/2 c Water; boiling
Kasha is the seed from the grass-like herb buckwheat. It is a staple
in Russia and Brittany and is a hearty meal when served at breakfast
with fruit or at dinner as a rice substitute.
Mix dry kasha with egg and heat mixture over medium heat.
Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
Cover and simmer 20 minutes until grain is cooked.
