2 lb Pinto beans
2 md Onion
4 Celery rib
1 cl Garlic -- minced
1 Bell pepper -- chopped
1 bn Green onion -- chopped
5 sl Bacon -- cut in small pieces
Salt -- to taste
2 ds Red pepper chili powder --
- to taste
Cooking time: 3 to 4 hours
Brown bacon pieces in skillet and add chopped vegetables and cook
over low heat until wilted. Add to beans that have been soaked
overnight. Add water to beans and cover and cook until tender.
