MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Bombay Rice & Lentils
Categories: Casseroles, Vegetarian
     Yield: 4 servings

   1/2 md Onion; chopped
     1 c  Brown rice; uncooked
 2 1/2 c  Water
   1/4 c  Lentils; uncooked
   1/2 c  Raisins
     2 tb Salad oil
     1 tb Tomato paste
   1/4 ts Cinnamon
   1/2 ts Seasoned salt
   1/2 c  Pine nuts

 Saute onion in oil in large skillet until soft.

 Add rice; cook, stirring, several minutes.

 Combine tomato paste, water, cinnamon and lentils in a bowl; add to
 rice.

 Bring mixture to a boil; cover tightly, reduce heat and simmer
 30 minutes.

 Stir in seasoned salt, raisins and pine nuts.

 Grease an 8"-square baking dish; pour in rice mixture.

 Cover and bake in preheated 350 F oven 20 to 30 minutes.
