MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Passover Meatballs

     Yield: 6 Dozen

     2 lg Eggs; lightly beaten
     1 c  Water; divided
 1 1/2 c  Onion; fine chopped, divided
   1/2 c  Matzo meal
     1 ts Salt
   1/4 ts Pepper
     2 lb Ground beef
     8 oz Can tomato sauce
     1 c  Sugar
   1/2 c  Lemon juice

 In a large bowl, combine the eggs, 1/2 cup water, 1/2
 cup onion, matzo meal, salt, and pepper. Crumble beef
 over mixture and mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into
 1" balls.

 In a Dutch oven, combine the tomato sauce, sugar, lemon
 juice, and remaining water and onion. Add meatballs;
 bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until
 meat is no longer pink, about 45 minutes. Serve with a
 slotted spoon.
