     Yield: 6 Cakes

    12 oz Seff-raising flour
     8 oz Butter
     6 oz Castor sugar
     3 tb Beer
     4 oz Mixed fruit

 TEISENNAU FFAIR LLANDDAROG

 Rub the butter into: the flour and add the sugar. Mix
 in the beer to form a soft dough. Roll out on a floured
 board to a thickness of 1/2 inch. Cut into rounds and
 press the fruit into  ths surface. Cook in a moderate
 oven (376 F or Mark 5) for 15 minutes.
