MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Swedish Hot Cheese Tarts

     Yield: 12 Tarts

     1 c  Flour
     1 tb Heavy cream
   1/4 ts Salt
     1 oz Blue cheese; crumbled
     6 tb Butter
     2 oz Cream cheese; softened
   1/4 c  Heavy cream; (approximate)
   1/4 c  Cheddar cheese; shredded
     1    Egg
          Cayenne

 Preheat oven to 425 F.

 Sift together flour and salt. Cut in butter. Stir in just enough
 cream to make soft dough. Roll out dough very thin (less than 1/8
 inch) between two sheets of wax paper. Line tart pans with pastry,
 overlapping sides of pans slightly (to prevent sides from slipping to
 center of pans during baking). Prick bottom and sides of pastry
 shells with a floured fork. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden
 brown. Allow shells to cool in pans for a few moments; gently remove
 to wire racks.

 Lower oven temperature to 350 F.

 Meantime, beat egg with cream. Add cheeses and mix thoroughly. Place
 tart shells on baking sheet. Gently spoon cheese mixture into shells.
 Sprinkle with cayenne. Bake about 10 minutes or until cheese is
 puffed and set. Serve at once.
