MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Kanelkakor (Cinnamon Cookies)

     Yield: 4 Dozen

     7 oz Butter
   1/3 c  Sugar
     2 ts Cinnamon
     1    Egg yolk
 1 3/4 c  Flour
          Mixture of:
     2 tb Sugar and
     1 ts Cinnamon

 Stir fat and sugar until light and fluffy. Add cinnamon and egg
 yolk. Stir in the flour and quickly work to a dough. Leave in the
 fridge or some other cold place for about 1 hour.

 Grease the baking plates - you will need 2 plates for 1 batch
 cookies. Heat the oven to 350 F. Take out the dough and part
 in two, then shape each part to an even-sized "sausage". Cut the
 sausage in even-sized pieces and shape into small round balls,
 barely the size of a walnut. Roll them in the sugar-cinnamon
 mixture and put them on the baking plates. Use a fork to create a
 square pattern on the cookies.

 Bake for about 10 minutes or until nicely colored and done. Leave
 them on the plates for a few minutes before loosening them. Put
 them on a rack to cool. Enjoy!
