MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Shrimp Paprikash

     Yield: 4 Servings

     2 tb Butter
     2 lb Shrimp; thawed, shelled,
          -deveined
   1/2 c  Scallions; finely sliced
     2 cl Garlic; minced
     1 tb Red gold Hungarian pimento
          -paste
   3/4 c  Sour cream
          Hot cooked noodles

 Melt the butter in a hot skillet until it foams and begins to brown.
 Toss in the shrimp and stir rapidly over high heat until it curls and
 is almost opaque, about 3 minutes.

 Remove the shrimp from the pan, leaving as much butter as possible in
 the pan. Add a little more butter if necessary. Cook the garlic and
 scallions, stirring constantly, over medium heat until they wilt and
 become aromatic.

 Add the pepper paste and stir, then add sour cream. Lower heat and
 stir to blend completely. Add shrimp and stir gently until all is hot
 and well-combined. Do not boil.

 Serve with warm buttered noodles.
