MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Seed Cake

     Yield: 1 Cake

   1/2 c  Butter; (115 g)
   1/2 c  Caster sugar; (115 g)
     2    Eggs; beaten
 1 1/4 c  Self-raising flour; (150 g)
   1/4 c  Ground rice; (25 g)
     3 ts Caraway seeds
     3 tb Milk
     2 tb Demerara sugar

MMMMM---------------------SELF-RAISING FLOUR--------------------------
     1 c  All-purpose flour
   1/2 ts Salt
 1 1/2 ts Baking powder

 Cream the butter and caster sugar and gradually beat in the eggs.

 Fold in the flour, ground rice and caraway seeds.

 Add the milk.

 Spoon into a greased 7" (18 cm) cake tin (having lined the base with
 greaseproof paper).

 Smooth off and sprinkle the demerara sugar on top.

 Bake for about an hour at 180 C / 350 F. Turn out on to a wire rack
 as it begins to cool.
