MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Yellow Fried Chicken

     Yield: 6 Servings

          Free range chicken; cut as
          -desired
     4    Kaffir lime leaves; torn
     1 tb Salt; +1/2 ts, divided
   1/2 ts Fresh tamarind juice; thick

MMMMM-----------------------GROUND SPICES----------------------------
     6    Shallots
     4 cl Garlic
     1 ts Turmeric; grated
     5    Candlenuts; fry with or
          -without oil
     1 ts Coriander; fry without oil
   1/2 ts Cumin; fry without oil

 Bring to boil 250 ml water in a wok.

 Add in ground spices and all ingredients including chicken. Return to
 boil, then reduce heat. Simmer while turning the chicken from time to
 time until the meat is tender and the spiced stock is fully reduced.
 If necessary, add some hot water if only a little stock is left but
 the chicken is still not tender.

 Drain, allow to cool, and then fry the chicken in plenty of oil.
