MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Curd Rice (Jaffna Style)
Categories: Indian, Rice
     Yield: 4 Servings

     2 c  Rice
     1 c  Curd (yogurt)
     2    Green chiles; minced
     1 tb Urad dal
   1/2 ts Mustard seeds
          Curry leaves
 1 1/2 tb Ghee
     2    Dried chiles; minced
     1 tb Fresh ginger; grated
          Salt
     4 c  Water

 Cook rice in 4 cups water. Fry the chiles, mustard seeds, dal, curry
 leaves, and ginger. Mix the curd and salt, add to rice with the fried
 spices. Stir well.
