Title: Cauliflower Fritters

Yield: 4 Servings
1 md Cauliflower; large florets
2 c Oil
1 c Besan (chickpea flour)
1 ts Garam masala
3 tb Cilantro; chopped
1 ts Black pepper powder
Salt; to taste
1/2 c Water
4 tb Tomato sauce -OR-
1/2 c Coconut mint chutney
Mix all ingredients, except oil, cauliflower, and sauce or chutney.
Make a thick batter, adding water. Heat oil in a deep pan or wok. Dip
cauliflower pieces in the batter and deep fry in the oil. Turn pieces
until they brown on all sides. Drain excess oil on paper towels.
Serve with tomato sauce or coconut mint chutney.
