MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Chicken Korma

     Yield: 4 Servings

     1 lg Potato; peeled,
          - in 1/2" cubes
     1 lg Onion; chopped
     1    Cinnamon stick (3")
     1    Bay leaf
     3    Whole cloves
     1 tb Oil
     1 lb Chicken; boned, skinned,
          - in 1/2" cubes
     1 cl Garlic; minced
     1 ts Curry powder
   1/2 ts Fresh ginger; minced
     2 md Tomatoes; seeded, chopped
     1 ts Salt
   1/2 c  Sour cream
          Cooked rice; hot
          Fresh cilantro; chopped
          - (optional)

 Place potato in a small saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a
 boil. Reduce heat; cover and cook until tender, 10 to 15 minutes.
 Drain.

 In a large skillet, saute the onion, cinnamon, bay leaf, and cloves
 in oil until onion is tender. Add the chicken, garlic, curry, and
 ginger; cook and stir 1 minute longer. Stir in the tomatoes, salt,
 and potato.

 Cover and cook until chicken is no longer pink, 10 to 15 minutes.
 Remove from the heat; discard cinnamon, bay leaf, and cloves. Stir
 in sour cream. Serve with rice and, if desired, cilantro.
