     Title: Basmati Rice

     Yield: 4 Servings


       2 c  Basmati rice
      10 g  Butter
       3    Cardamom pods
       1    Clove
       1    Cinnamon stick
     1.5 L  Water

 Wash the Basmati rice and rinse.

 Put the rice in a pot with the butter and spices, and bring the water
 to a boil on high heat.

 After the water boils turn the heat down to low heat and put on the
 lid. Steam for 10-11 minutes. Frequently open the lid and stir the
 rice thoroughly.

 Once the rice softens, drain the remaining water from the pot.

 Quickly stir the rice, let it sit off the heat with the lid open for
 five minutes to further cook from the remaining heat.
