       Sookhi Gobi - Cauliflower, Ginger, Garlic & Chiles - India

    1/4  c             Vegetable oil
    3/4  ts            Cumin seeds
    3/4  ts            Yellow mustard seeds
  5      cl            Garlic -- finely chopped
  1 1/2                Fresh ginger root (1 1/2") --
                       - cut into fine shreds
  1 1/2  lb            Cauliflower florets
  2                    Fresh hot green chilies
  1      ts            Salt
                       Fresh ground black pepper
    3/4  ts            Garam Masala
    1/2  ts            Chili powder -- or to taste

Put oil in wok and sti on highish heat. When hot put in cumin and
mustard seeds. Ads soon as mustard seeds begin to pop, a few seconds,
put in garlic, ginger, cauliflower and green chilies. Stir-fry 5-7
minutes or until cauliflower has turned somewhat brown. Now put in salt
black pepper, garam masala and chili powder; mix. Put in 4 tb water
and cover wok imediately. Cook for 2 minutes and serve.
