          Lal Chutney - Fresh Red Chutney with Almonds - India

    1/2                red pepper, deseeded -- coarsely chopped
 20      lg            mint leaves -- coarsely chopped
  2      tbsps         lemon juice
  1      clove         garlic -- coarsely chopped
    1/2  tsp           chili powder
    1/2  tsp           salt
                       fresh ground black pepper
  1      tbsp          blanched, slivered almonds
  1      tsp           dill, chopped -- optional

Blend red pepper, mint, lemon juice, garlic, chili powder, slat and
black pepper. Blend until smooth. Add almonds and blend again. Pour into
bowl and check seasoning. Add dill if you wish. Serve with Hamburger
Kabobs.
