12 Eggs; boiled for 8-10 minutes,
-shells on
2 qt Water
4 ts Salt
1 tb Soy sauce
3 Star anise stars
1/3 c Black tea leaves
1 tb Cinnamon
Crack eggs lightly all over but do not remove shells. Combine rest
of ingredients and bring to boil. Add eggs. Simmer over low heat
45-60 minutes. Cool in liquid. Remove, shell, and serve. The cracks
in the eggs will leave a design on the egg whites.
