     Title: Mungbeans In Sugar Syrup

     Yield: 4 Servings

     1 c  Dried mung beans
     1 c  Sugar
     5 c  Water

 Look over the beans and discard any bad ones. Wash the beans and soak
 in warm water for 3 hours to overnight. Wash again and drain.

 Pour the water in a pot, add the mungbeans, and cook on medium until
 tender, about 30 minutes. Add sugar, and stir until dissolved. Bring
 to a boil, then remove from heat. Serve hot.
