MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Arroz Mexicana (Mexican Rice)

     Yield: 8 Servings

     2 c  Long grain rice
     8 oz Can tomato sauce
     4 c  Water
   1/2    Onion; chopped
   1/2    Bell pepper; chopped
   1/4 c  Cooking oil
     1 ts Garlic powder
     1 ts Salt
     1 ts Pepper
     1 ds Comino

 In a skillet brown rice thoroughly in cooking oil. When brown, mix in
 bell pepper and onion--saute well. Add water, tomato sauce, and
 spices; let come to a boil. Cover and simmer at a moderate
 temperature for about 15 to 20 minutes or until water is gone.
