Title: Jim Bowie's Hush Puppies

2 c Corn meal
1 c Flour
2 tb Minced onions
1 ea Egg
2 tb Bacon drippings
ds Cajun seasoning
2 tb Baking powder
Milk
Deep fat for frying
Mix all ingredients with just enough milk to make a thick mixture. Wet
hands & roll mixture into 1-1/2 inch balls. drop into deep fat &
remove when brown. drain on absorbent paper. You can use salt &
pepper to taste in place of cajun seasoning.
