                         Brazilian Feyoada Rice

  3      tb            Oil
  1 1/2  c             Long-grain rice
  1                    Onion -- peeled, thinly sliced
  2                    Tomatoes -- peeled, seeded,
                       - chopped
  2                    Green chili peppers -- seeded,
                       - chopped
  1 1/2  c             Beef broth
    2/3  c             Golden raisins
  1 1/2  ts            Salt

Heat oil in medium skillet. Add rice and onion, cook over very low
heat for 10 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and green chili peppers. Pour
in beef broth, slowly, to avoid spattering. Stir in raisins and salt.
Bring rice to a boil, lower heat and cook for 20 to 25 minutes.
