MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Cherry Coconut Treats

     Yield: 24 servings

 1 1/2 c  A-P flour
     1 c  Graham cracker crumbs
   2/3 c  Brown sugar; packed
     1 ts Baking powder
   1/2 ts Salt
     1 c  Butter; melted

MMMMM--------------------------FILLING-------------------------------
     4 c  Unsweetened finely shredded
          - coconut
    28 oz Sweetened condensed milk
          - (2 cans)
    20 oz Maraschino cherries
          - (2 jars);
          - drained, chopped
     2 ts Vanilla extract
     1 ts Almond extract

 Set oven @ 325 F/165 C.

 In a small bowl, mix the first 5 ingredients; stir in melted
 butter. Press mixture onto bottom of a greased 13x9" baking pan.

 In another bowl, mix filling ingredients; pour over crust. Bake
 until edges are lightly browned, 35 to 40 minutes. Cool on a wire
 rack 1 hour. Refrigerate, covered, 4 hours before cutting. Store in
 an airtight container in the refrigerator.
