MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Peach Crumble Dessert

     Yield: 12 Servings

     6 c  Ripe peaches; peeled, sliced
   1/4 c  Brown sugar; packed
     3 tb A-P flour
     1 ts Lemon juice
   1/2 ts Lemon zest; grated
   1/2 ts Ground cinnamon

     1 c  A-P flour
     1 c  Sugar
     1 ts Baking powder
   1/4 ts Salt
   1/4 ts Ground nutmeg
     1 lg Egg; lightly beaten
   1/2 c  Butter; melted, cooled
          Vanilla ice cream (optional)

 Set oven @ 375 F/190 C.

 Place peaches in a greased shallow 2-1/2 qt Dutch oven, cast-iron
 pan, or 2-1/2 qt ovenproof baking dish. In a small bowl, combine
 brown sugar, flour, lemon juice, zest, and cinnamon; sprinkle over
 the peaches.

 Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. Stir in egg
 until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over the
 peaches. Pour melted butter evenly over topping.

 Bake 35 to 40 minutes. If desired, serve with ice cream.
