Orange Cream Mascarpone

4 Egg yolks
1/2 c Sugar
8 oz Mascarpone cheese
4 tb Grand Marnier
1 Orange -- peeled and sliced
Beat together yolks and sugar until thick and pale. Add the cheese
and beat until completely mixed in. Add two tablespoons liqueur and
heat again. Refrigerate two or three hours. Toss orange slices in
remaining liqueur and set aside until read to serve.
Spoon mascarpone into stemmed dessert goblets. Top with orange slices.

Notes: Mascarpone, a double-cream cheese could be described as
similar to a buttery Devonshire cream. We've combined it with the
flavor of oranges but it is also delicious with other fruits and
quality brandies.
