MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Peach Bavarian
Categories: Fruits, Dairy
     Yield: 8 servings

15 1/4 oz Can sliced peaches
     6 oz Peach or apricot gelatin
          - (2 boxes)
   1/2 c  Sugar
     2 c  Boiling water
     1 ts Almond extract
     8 oz Tub whipped topping; thawed
          Fresh peaches; sliced (optional)

 Drain peaches, reserving 2/3 cup juice. Chop peaches into small
 pieces.

 In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin and sugar in the boiling water.
 Stir in reserved juice. Chill until slightly thickened. Stir
 extract into whipped topping; gently fold into gelatin mixture.
 Fold in peaches.

 Pour into an oiled 6-cup mold. Chill overnight. Unmold onto a
 serving platter; garnish with peaches if desired.
