                     Southwestern Broiled Pineapple

  1      small         ripe pineapple -- cut in 1/2" slices
    1/2  cup           brown sugar
    1/2  cup           butter
         dash          tequila

Place the pineapple slices on a cookie sheet with sides.  Melt the butter and
brown sugar together and pour over the slices.  Place under the broiler until
bubbly and warmed through.  Sprinkle with tequila and serve at once.

Notes:  This fast and easy dessert is a light finish to a meal.  It can also
double as part of a brunch menu.  Remember that any item topped with sugar
needs careful attention while under the broiler.
