MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Bar-Le-Duc Cheese
Categories: Desserts
     Yield: 4 Servings

     4 oz Cream cheese (125 g)
3 tb Red currant preserves (45
          -ml)
     2 tb Cream (30 ml)
          Fruits (grapes,
          -strawberries, kiwi, your
          -choice)
          Brie cheese (optional)

This is a heavy meal so I try to make dessert light. I don't always
serve this but it is a good way to end the meal with a dessert wine
or cognac. It makes for a casual ending to the meal and conversation
abounds. Along with this dessert I always have fresh, in season
fruits on the table to nibble on. Grapes, strawberries, kiwi or
whatever else is in season. I also put out a brie cheese with this
dessert for those that do not care for the taste of currant.

Blend the ingredients until thoroughly combined. Serve slightly
chilled with crackers or melba toast.
