Sunny's Pumpkin Dip

16 oz Cream cheese; softened
 1    Can pumpkin pie mix; not solid-pack pumpkin
 2 c  Powdered sugar
1/2 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Ground ginger
 8 oz Cool Whip

Beat softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl until smooth; gradually
add pumpkin pie mix and beat well. Beat in the sugar, spices, and
orange rind.

Fold in the Cool whip. Chill. Serve as a dip or spread, with your
favorite spice cookies, oatmeal cookies, molasses cookies, or
gingersnaps.

Yield: 5 Cups
