3 lg Egg whites
1/2 ts Cream of tartar
16 oz Powdered sugar -- sifted
Food coloring
Combine whites at room temperature and cream of tartar in large
mixing bowl. Beat with mixer at medium speed until frothy. Gradually
add powdered sugar, mixing well. Beat 5 to 7 minutes. Color.
Notes: Dries very quickly; keep covered at all times. Kind of
crunchy.
