     Title: Japanese Fruitcake Filling

 1 1/2 c  Flaked coconut
     1 c  Sugar
     2 tb Cornstarch
     1 c  Water
     1 cn Crushed pineapple (8-oz)
          ; undrained
     2    Oranges; peeled, fine
          -chopped

 Preparation Time: 0:05
 Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan, stirring
 until cornstarch dissolves.  Cook over medium heat,
 stirring constantly, 1 minute or until thickened and
 bubbly.  Cool completely before spreading on cake.  Yield:
   3-1/3    cups.
